Chai: Rooibos

• Add 6 Tbsp. of dry leaves to a large sachet or infuser
• Heat 4 cups of water to 200 degrees F
• Pour hot water over the leaves and steep for 6 minutes
• Add 2/3 cup sugar and stir to dissolve
• Allow your concentrate to cool to room temprature
• Cover and refrigerate up to 5 days

To serve hot:

• Mix 4 oz. milk of choice and 4 oz. Chai Concentrate
• Heat in microwave or on stove top to temp. of your choice and enjoy

To serve iced:

• Fill glass with ice
• Pour 4 oz of Chai Concentrate over ice
• Add 4 oz. of milk of your choice
• Stir and enjoy

Changing the volume of dried leaves, the temprature of the water and the length of the steep time will alter the taste of any tea or tisane. If your first tasting is unpleasant, perhaps alter one of these and try again. If you try various steeping methods and still do not like the flavor, that is perfectly okay. Another blend or flavor may be more to your taste.
